LEGEND National Dance Competition is proud to have created this new competition with the input of
100’s of Studio Owners, Teachers and Judges. This new competition will not only bring back the fun for your dancers, but also for studios owners, teachers the judges and of course the audience!
We’ve added many interactive elements between the judges and dancers. Groups that are entertaining, inspiring, moving or just grabbed the attention of the judges will be invited to the LEGENDARY (Dance-Off) FINALS.
The judges and dancers get to connect during our Title Competition.
The judges will interview each soloist as well as judge the SOLO Improv Battle.

We want to thank all the studio owners who’ve helped shape and create this competition with us. LEGEND has listened to 1000’s of ideas, opinions and requests and have all been carefully thought out when creating this competition. We appreciate all of our studio owners here at LEGEND!
It’s time that TEACHERS get RECOGNIZED MORE at competition! We understand that we wouldn’t have these amazing routines to watch on stage without our harding working teachers! As teachers prepare all year with their dancers, it doesn’t stop at the studio, they work twice as hard at competition to get their dancers & props on and off stage all weekend, which is why we will always have our VIP Teacher Lounge supplied with snacks & drinks. Another element we’ve added is the AUDIENCE CHOICE AWARD. We strive to make this fun new experience exciting for everyone which is why we’ve added this award that will come straight from the audience! Select routines will be announced as nominees for this award and an allotted time slot will be open for the audience to vote online for their favorite routine! This award will be announced at the LEGENDARY AWARDS GALA.
